Boucheron necklace to lead Cheffins’ Jewellery, Silver & Watches Sale

A gold Boucheron scarf necklace will lead the Cheffins Jewellery, Silver & Watches Sale, hosted on 20^th August at the firm’s Cambridge-based salerooms.

The 461-lot sale will also see a series of antique and modern jewellery, with a large selection of Georgian pieces, alongside high value watches and silver.

Highlights among the jewellery section include a diamond line necklace with an estimate of £10,000 - £15,000 and a Burmese ruby and diamond cluster ring, which is set to sell for £1,500 - £2,500. Also on offer is a series of rare Georgian jewellery, including brooches, necklaces, rings and pendants.

Among the watches, there are two Oyster Perpetual date wristwatches which have both have an estimate of £1,5000 - £2,500.

The silver section sees 152 lots of modern and antique examples, with highlights including a pair of Robert Calderwood George III Irish candlesticks which are estimated to sell for £3,000 - £5,000 and a George II silver pedestal cup and cover, which is believed to have been made by James Wilkes, which carries the same estimate.
