A Chinese blue and white porcelain dragon dish, Qianlong (1736-1795)

of shallow circular form, with central horned dragon pursuing a pearl amongst flames, the external wall with two further dragons, seal mark of Qianlong and of the period, 16.6cm diameter

Provenance:
Acquired directly from the private collection of an eminent Portuguese gentleman who acquired the piece while visiting Portobello Road in the 1950s

Sold for £8,000


Condition Report
A few burst glaze bubbles on rim.small scratch at 12 o'clock on main dragon reserve. Several other small scratches with staining brown.
