A French ebonised and brass inlaid bureau cabinet, 19th century

the shaped cornice with urn finials over two cupboard doors inlaid with classical urns surrounded by swags and foliate, over a fall front and single drawer on tapered and fluted legs
175 x 80 x 47cm

Estimated at £200 - £400

Condition Report

Pediment left section loose, the urn has come off but is present
Gilt metal frieze has dropped on the right side
multiple areas of brass line inlay have come off and are missing, particularily on the flanks
Left cupboard door lower left and lower right section with losses, internally the back panel is missing a vertical section down the middle
Escutcheon missing on the right cupboard door
Fall front gilt metal moulding is lifting, with losses to the lower right and lower left sections of the sloped front, internally the right drawer is midding its handle
general knocks through out, especially to the legs, various gilt metal mounts and line inlay missing
