The collection of Harry Davies Campbell Jones, thence by descent to the vendor. Harry Davies Campbell Jones (1863 - 1935), was a Senior Manager of the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation. He began his service there in 1882 in London, working in Singapore, Manila, Japan, and London. In 1907, Harry went to Japan as Manager of the HSBC in Japan. When he left in 1911, the Japanese Government awarded him the Order of the Rising Sun of Japan.
