A George III silver coffee pot

by Francis Crump, London 1769, of baluster form and decorated with repoussé scrolls and foliage over a textured ground around a crested and monogrammed cartouche, the part marked hinged and slightly domed cover with flame finial, simple wooden scroll handle and raised on a pedestal foot, the underside with two initials, 26ozt

Condition Report

Generally in good condition for its age with no obvious signs of damage.


Some evidence of a possible repair to the inside of the cover, though nothing visible to the outside. Some minor movement to the hinge.


Very slight movement to the handle in the sockets.


A very minor pinhole to the cover.


Hallmarks crisp and easily readable, as is the crest.
