Condition Report

Oil on canvas which is unlined. The canvas is slightly slack but in plane, the reverse of the painting has a thick layer of dust and dirt. There are small losses to the paint layer in the upper section of the picture, caused by impact rather than an inherent instability in the paint layer. Overall the paint layer appears stable. The work is not varnished, there is some staining in the sky and scattered white drips and accretions. The frame is in a good condition, a few small chips to the corners.
