Condition Report

Canvas is in plane and has good surface tension. There is a fine network of craquelure throughout, there are some minor losses in the top right corner and along the lower edge. Varnish is largely clear and glossy, though there are some matte areas visible under raking light. There is evidence of retouching to the head (see UV photos) and a very fine layer of dust across the surface and one small accretion located to the jaw.
