circa 1862, the outer (and inner) case with London hallmarks for Sterling silver, open faced pocket watch, white dial, inner with polychrome painted pastoral scene of a farmer ploughing, black Roman numerals and blued hands, front loading gilt full plate key wind movement, signed C&J KETTERER BRO WARE No 47251, engraved winged balance cock, verge escapement with chain fusée, three arm balance and 4 pillars, inner case, 47mm diameter, verso with offset winding aperture, interior with casemaker's mark of Philip Woodman & Sons, 138.2g gross, presented with the winding key
