circa 1907, the signed white dial, 42mm diameter, with black Roman numerals, blued spade hands, sweep chronograph seconds and chemin de fer chapter ring, subsidiary running seconds at 6 o'clock and minute register at 12 o'clock, unsigned and unnumbered mechanical crown wind movement marked 'BREVET+', with hand setting button at 4 o'clock, chronograph start/stop/reset pusher at 12 o'clock, and repeating slider at 6 o'clock, case, 52mm diameter, outer front cover engraved with the crest of 'Phillpotts', verso hinged, outer engraved with the crest of the Worshipful Company of Masons, interior with mark of Arthur Baume, Baume & Co and London import hallmarks for 18ct gold, number 132894, the cuvette similarly marked, weight 134.6g gross and presented in the original presentation case signed 'HICKLENTON & PHILLIPS, CHEAPSIDE, LONDON'

Condition Report
Crystal: Lacking the crystal
Dial: Overall in good condition, though rather dusty due to the lack of crystal. Some very minor staining to the minute subsidiary dial. Minor rusting to the hour and minutes hands.
Movement: In working order, though not tested for timekeeping. The chronograph sweep returns to 38 minutes past the hour, rather than to the 12 o'clock position, but the minute register operates as it should. Repeating mechanism functional
Case: Some minor surface scratches as to be expected, together with some minor dents to the edge of the case. No spring to the opening cover, though none of the hinges appear strained. Both engravings are clear and crisp. as are the hallmarks.
Extras: Box in good condition, though in interior lining is a little stained
