circa 1958, two-tone dial with silver coloured batons, hands, centre sweep and inner rotating alarm setting disc, mechanical crown wind movement number 1439221 calibre K814 with alarm crown at 2H and movement crown at 4H, case, 35mm diameter, verso snap on and numbered, interior signed, to an aftermarket brown strap with steel pin buckle
Jaeger-LeCoultre's first alarm wristwatch, Memovox (taken from the Latin memoria 'memory' and vox 'voice') was first released in 1951.
The time and alarm functions were separated by constructing two separate barrels, which ensured that the power reserve of the timepiece was not reduced by triggering the alarm function. As a result, Memovox watches have two crowns for winding.
