circa 1788, the unmarked outer case with repoussé depiction of a classical scene, open faced pocket watch with signed white dial, black Roman numerals outer Arabic minute track and gilt fretwork hands under a bullseye crystal, front loading gilt full plate key wind movement signed J WILDERS LONDON S1S, with pierced and engraved balance bridge, verge escapement, chain fusee and silvered regulation, 3 arm balance and four pinned squared baluster pillars, inner case, 42mm diameter, verso plain with offset winding aperture, interior with London hallmarks for Sterling silver and possible casemaker's mark of Bartholomew Need, 87g gross, presented with the winding key

Condition Report
Outer case - Clasp fully operational. Hinge in good order. One pinhole.
Inner case - A bit scruffy, with scratches and small dents. A more significant dent to the side. Hinge in good order.
Crystal - Complete. Surface scratches all over and a little grizzling to the edge of the bullseye. Loose in the mount.
Dial - One or two hairline cracks. Some grizzling to the rim, particularly at 12H and 5H. Two of the three dial feet lacking. Retaining pin to the third foot lacking.
Movement - Winds satisfactorily and the balance swings freely, though the movement is not currently running.
