Condition Report

The painting has been executed in oil on a canvas support which has been lined. The canvas tension is good, the edges of the canvas have a slight rounded effect. A large damage to the canvas at the left side has been repaired with a canvas insert and overpainted. The overpaint has a slightly green tone compared to the original. The paint layers are in a good condition overall. A network of age cracks has formed which is quite prominent in the sky but not distracting from a normal viewing distance. The varnish is clear and even.
