Condition Report
Ring: all stones in situ and seem to be secure; the diamonds are bright and sparkly, the ruby is a clear, vivid and beautiful raspberry pink; there is some pitting in the gold on one of the shoulders, but the setting and shank are sound and robust.

Brooch:all stones in place, but the diamonds being rose cuts do not have as much life or whiteness; the ruby is darker, and not helped by having the setting close behind it thus limiting the light passing through it; setting and pin all in good order.
