with Greek key and corbel moulded cornice, the doors carved with Prince of Wales feathers to the glazing bars, the base enclosing a fitted interior of small drawers, on a plinth base Note: Plate 39, 2nd edition, 1794, Sheraton's design for a new bookcase, displays a similar design of glazing bars Provenance: Phillips of Hitchin, purchased 1948

Condition Report
Some glazing has been replaced and there are some very small moulding losses.
The frieze has been repolished
