Charles Delenoncourt, the Parisian furniture maker, became Maître ébéniste on 2nd August 1752. He worked in the Faubourg Saint-Antoine, rue Saint-Nicolas, where he specialised in producing chairs upholstered in cane.

All chairs have been recaned and structurally re-enforced. Historic woodworm throughout especially the legs. Various repairs of breaks to the frame of all chairs
