by Edward Gibbon, London 1726, of traditional baluster form with reeded waist, the friction fitting detachable bun top cover with acorn finial, crested, height 11cm, 2.1ozt

Condition Report

Generally in reasonable condition considering its age.


Some distortion to the rim of the foot, and a slight wobble when on a flat surface.


Evidence of a minor repair under the crest at the girdle area, with a little of the reeding lacking together with a solder lump.


Minor dents, dings and scratching to the body as to be expected.


Cover fits well, no evidence of splitting to the rims.


Hallmarks & crest both a little worn but readable.
