HM Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Margaret, a Buckingham Palace note-card with childish pencil drawings on both sides of cottages, chairs, dressing tables etc., probably circa 1938-39.
The late Queen and Princess Margaret did these drawings whilst visiting their dentist, a Mr Aldred, in London. This card was left in the waiting room, according to a letter written to the Palace, with their reply dated 2004 acknowledging this with thanks, and retaining a copy of the card for the Royal Archives.
