mark of Adie Brothers Ltd., Birmingham 1936, of square from, verso with engine turned engraving, piano hinged cover with polychrome guilloché enamelled image of a huntsman on horseback with hounds, interior with mirror and gauze, 7.5 x 7.5cm, 115g gross, presented in a black material pouch

Condition Report

Enamel generally in good condition with no obvious signs of damage or loss. Some minor surface scratches and very minor grizzles as to be expected and commensurate with age and use. Verso a little dished in places, more obvious under reflected light. Hinge and catch in good order. Mirror complete, a little spotted and loose in the mount. Gauze a little worn round the edge but complete and undamaged.
