The gold plated watch cases produced by the Dennison Watch Case Company were available in three grades - the 'Sun' grade with a 25-year wear guarantee, the 'Moon' grade with a 20-year wear guarantee and the 'Star' grade with a 10-year wear guarantee. A sought after and collectable casemaker, Dennison produced watch cases for some of the most famous watch companies, including Rolex, as in this example.

Condition Report
Crystal: Not glass, probably a replacement, but in good condition with only very minor surface scratching.
Dial: In good condition. A very minor chip to the very edge at 9 o'clock. Hands in good condition with just some minor rusting to the second hand.
Movement: In working order, though it has not been tested for timekeeping. The crown engages and disengages as it should, and the hands move freely in both directions.
Case: Some surface scratching, as to be expected. A minor dent to the side of the case at 6 o'clock. Cover springs open and closes satisfactorily. Some deterioration to the enamelling on number 1.
Extras: No box, case or further documents.
