A Chinese finely carved bamboo brush pot, probably late Ming/ Qing Dynasty

in relief with a scholar talking to a monk, beneath an aged pine tree, their boy attendant pointing up at the full moon near a cliff face by a lake, the reverse with rocks, 14.3cm high, 10.7cm diameter; with seven later associated Chinese brushes including cloisonne, bamboo, horn and wood types
