Condition Report

The painting is executed in oil on a canvas support which has been lined. The canvas tension is good and the picture is in plane. The paint layers are in a good, stable condition. There is a regular network of age cracks which is slightly raised in a few, localised areas. The varnish is clear, even and glossy. There are a few small areas of overpaint, mainly located in the sky, which are well matched to the original.
